Lawter Stuctural Civil Stormwater Upgrade

Bishops were engaged by Lawter to carry out the works for both the Site Civil Stormwater upgrade along with the Structural Bund upgrade for the MMI Modernisation.

The Stormwater upgrade works included refurbishment to the existing isotainer bunding and platforms, new bund catchment areas, new concrete laydown areas, all new roading infrastructure for trucking and traffic routes and a wetland pond catchment area. This total layout was over an area of approx. 3 acres.

The Structural upgrade construction consisted of full alteration to the bund walls and foundations of the CST bund extension to create additional capacity to cater for more product storage.

Both projects successfully ran simultaneously in a live operating plant environment, meeting all required timelines and budget, along with delivering on all Quality assurance and compliance.
