Bishops has a core team that specialises in the repair, refurbishment and protection of concrete surfaces and structures as well as grouting that provides added structural stability for mechanical equipment. Our team is fully equipped and uses the latest technology that ensures that our work meets the highest standards. We work closely with product suppliers (SIKA, FOSROC and more) and engineers to make sure that the application is the right one for the job. All of our applicators have been well trained and are certified to apply a range of products.
In repair and refurbishment of existing concrete work we recognise that every job is different. Some of the key projects that we have been involved with include:
• Structural grouting for the turbines, generators and other major plant on Geothermal Power stations built by Mercury (then Mighty River Power) and Contact Energy since 2005.
• Major refurbishment works and maintenance for council owned aquatic centers (swimming pools) around the country.
• Leveling and sealing of areas where containment of water or chemicals is required.
• Containment bund sealing and protection for chemical and petrochemical plants.
