Timber processing and pulp and paper manufacture makes up a big part of New Zealand’s heritage and contributes about 2% of GDP. Bishops are proud to support this industry and enjoy taking on those tricky more complex projects. Health and safety requirements and regulations are prominent with our work due to the high hazards that exist with the industry. Our customers include Oji Fibre Systems (Kinleith and Tasman mills), Red Stag, Lawter (uses by-products from the pulp and paper process) and the Whakatane Board Mill (WML). Works we are involved with include a wide range of civil works, storage tank foundations, building works and concrete repair and sealing.
